Worst case the form is available at the courthouse where your hearing is set to be heard in, typically at the appropriate clerk's window, which may vary, so ask any of the clerk's when you get there.You only have so many days to respond, and it will specify in the paperwork.You will also have to appear in court on the date your hearing is scheduled.Most courts have a department that will help you respond to forms at no cost. It’s probably that or someone totally misunderstood something.All military paperwork is free! However, whether their commander or other sort of boss will let them return or not depends on the nature of duty, deployment terms, and other conditions. They can’t just leave on a whim, that would be desertion and it’s (sorry I don’t know how it works in America) probably punishable by firing (as in termination of job) or FIRING (as in execution)!!!Soldiers are generally paid enough to fly commercial back to home country.Do not give these people any money or any contact information! If you pay him, you’ll probably get a receipt from Nigeria and nothing else.

Let me guess, you've been contacted via email by somebody you’ve never met. they've told you a story about being a deployed soldier. At some stage in the dialogue they’ve told you about some kind of emotional drama, sick relative/kid etc. They tell you that because they are in a dangerous part of the world with no facilities they need you to fill in a leave application for them. Some part of this process will inevitably involve you having to pay some money on their behalf. The money will need to be paid via ‘Western Union’. Since you havent had much involvement with the military in the past you dont understand and are tempted to help out this poor soldier. they promise to pay you back once they get back from war.if this sounds familiar you are being scammed. There is no soldier just an online criminal trying to steal your money. If you send any money via Western Union it is gone, straight into the pockets of the scammer. you cant get it back, it is not traceable, this is why scammers love Western Union. They aernt going to pay you back, once they have your money you will only hear from them again if they think they can double down and squeeze more money out of you.Leave applications need to be completed by soldiers themselves. They are normally approved by their unit chain of command. If there is a problem the soldier’s commander will summon them internally to resolve the issue. This is all part of the fun of being a unit commander!! If the leave is not urgent they will wait for a convenient time during a rotation etc to work out the problems, if the leave is urgent (dying parent/spouse/kid etc) they will literally get that soldier out of an operational area ASAP. First off, congratulations! You're now amongst the new breed of BITSians who are also considering the thesis option as a viable one, as opposed to the equally attractive Practice School option. I'm not from the Data Science community, so I'd request anyone who knows about excellent universities in India ( or abroad )  to comment below. From my conversations with professors everywhere, I've gathered that a preference is given to students who are ready to commit a sizeable amount of time  (more than six months),  so as to obtain tangible results which would be worthwhile for you as well as the professor. So a thesis option of about five months is not enough. Add in your summer and winter vacations as well, to make it a solid six /seven months.  Now that you're clear about your time line, it's time to search for professors. Clearly mention that you're looking for a long term project. They're more likely to respond to you if you demonstrates long term availability. Also, please do not spam anyone. Do your homework before sending a request. I'd suggest working in India, because you get a good stipend of approx 5000 rupees per month  in places like TIFR, iisc. You may get more as well depending on the project and the funding body. Plus the accommodation is free and that's a lot in expensive cities like hyderabad and bangalore. Plus there's the comfort of staying in familiar surroundings. To make it even more enticing, there are trips organised by the Institute. The PhD students are extremely knowledgeable (and without any trace of haughtiness)  about their fields (and then some), and are the complete opposites of the BBT characters. You get invited to a dinner every weekend! They are extremely out going and take to heart  the saying : work hard, play hard. (I was a summer student at TIFR TCIS hyderabad, and I've to say that it was one of my best experiences during the summer break). Of course you also get to work with the leading professors of the world. In the hubris about doing a thesis outside, I've seen people go for second rate universities and professors, instead of working under the leading professors of various fields in India. Then there's the question of Psd. They have a form that you need to fill out to change from a PS to the TS stream. Then comes your department. They'll have a different form to fill as well. This form goes to the SWD as well, so you don't have to worry about that.  Please have a look at  CMI, IISc, TIFR, IISER Pune. Also there's been a policy change in your department. An off campus thesis is given only if you can sufficiently prove that there is no expert in your chosen field on campus. Please check with your department seniors. I'd strongly urge you to consider working on campus, firstly because it gives you the best environment to work in. And of course you owe it to your university to give back in terms of research. A thesis from what I understand is largely driven individually, the most an advisor goes is point you to the right direction. All the best!
