I cleared the CDS 2 2015 and CDS 1 2016. I got a call from Selection Centre South, Bangalore to attend SSB Interview on 26th March 2016. I was attending SSB after a gap of 3 and a half years and it was third attempt. I didn’t prepare anything as I was in a mood of experimenting (biggest mistake, I suggest not to experiment or attend to experience SSB). It cost me a lot. I was conference out by 17SSB.My experiment paid me dividends as I could analyse that I need expert guidance as to what the SSB is expecting out of a candidate. So, I joined AFOSOP guidance at Pune. It was more of personality development classes with relevance to SSB. Col. Ganesh Babu cleared the rumors that have been spread regarding the SSB.In the meantime, the results of CDS 1 2016 were declared and I cleared the written exam again.CDS exam preparation strategy Rama's answer to How do I prepare for CDSE?I didn’t want to get a call from Bangalore Board, even if I get a call from Bangalore, I didn’t want to get allotted to 17 SSB again. Everything turned against me.It was 17 SSB, Bangalore again. As I attended the 17 SSB previously in April ( just 3 months ago) everyone posted there identified me. Right from the bus driver to the Assessors said that “Tu firse agaya?”.DAY 1: I could not do well in the OIR and it was the narration and GD of PPDT that helped me to sail through. Later on, I surreptitiously saw the screening results and noticed that I was the only candidate to screen in with poor OIR-4 rating.DAY 2: Psychological tests went well as I practiced a lot for the same. I also had my Interview on the same day in the evening. The IO’s expression suggested that he was very much satisfied with my performance.DAY 3 & DAY 4: My performance improved on all accounts and the GTO was impressed. At the end of the all the tasks , I was satisfied with my performance and got an intuition that this time I have a fair chance of getting recommended.DAY 5: As soon as I entered the conference hall, the officer sitting right of me loudly said “ Oh my god, look at his height!” I ignored it. I wished my IO and he started asking various questions:Rama, did you talk to your mother yesterday?You are repeater of 17 SSB, and your performance has improved. Tell me how did you improve your performance?Any complaints or suggestions?while the IO was asking questions, all other officers were literally murmuring among themselves.I was sure of getting recommended. The result was declared and 8 candidates were recommended. The technical officer announced the chest numbers. It went on like this: chest no. 1, 7, 8, 9, 14, 17 (mine), 24 and 28. Few selected candidates were surprised and a few started crying.I immediately informed my parents and a few friends. and then long documentation procedure started. we were shifted to recommended candidate lines and were briefed for the medical procedures and conduct rules during our stay.Day 1 of medical went well. we submitted our blood and urine samples. Had our chest X-ray and ultra sound. In the evening we filled various forms.Day 2: we had our dental checkup. All other candidates proceeded for surgical tests. My X-ray film was spoiled. So, I had to undergo tests lonely hereafter.Day 3: Eye tests. Here I came to know that I was colour blind.Day 4: we had our ENT tests. I cleared this.Day 5: Rest of the candidates had their final medical tests which involved BP, Pulse, height and weight. They all cleared and went to their respective houses.Day 6 and day 7: holidays.Day 8: I had my surgical test where I was asked to remove all my clothes. The doctor checked piles, carrying angle, bowed legs, knock knees, flat foot etc. He asked me to have a chest X-ray again as it was not completely clear to him.Day 9: I had my chest X-ray again and the lab handed it over to the concerned officer. The officer proceeded on leave.Day 10: The officer who examined my X-ray asked me to come to his chamber and asked me to remove my clothes so that he can examine me again. He examined me, cleared the file and forwarded it to the surgical doctor for final approval. I was low on self-confidence because of unending medical tests.Day 11: I waited for the surgical doctors approval. He arrived very late in the noon and finally approved it.Day 12: Final checkup at medical division for height, weight, BP and pulse and final fullbody checkup. As it was an Air force hospital, they didn’t have a height-weight chart corresponding to my height of 194 cms. They asked me to get a chart from Army medical board. I did the same and submitted it to the medical division. After a long wait, the doctor arrived and checked me for one last time and cleared the file.After this I appealed for substandard colour perception and filled the requisite forms. I checked out in the evening and was out of the SSB campus after a 18 long days. After 35 days I reported at Southern Command Hospital of Indian Army at Pune. I was offered shelter by my friend Rohan (now officer with corps of signals). I reported at the medical board and they asked me to come after 5 days as the concerned doctor was on leave. I was examined by them and they declared that I was unfit to join the forces again. I appealed again to DGAFMS for Review medicals board but this time I did not attend the RMB.In the month of November, the UPSC declared the final merit list and I stood at 50 (AIR) among the candidates recommended for IMA-142 course. I couldn’t join IMA because of Substandard colour perception and my only dream of wearing uniform was shattered. You can represent yourself. Each form is different per state or county but generally an answer is simply a written document which presents a synopsis of your story to the court. The answer is not your defense, just written notice to the court that you intend to contest the suit. Governing boards are usually made up of mental health professionals, themselves; this doesn't mean your personal information will be trumpeted from the mountaintops—but they do need to see that information, to fully understand what happened, and intervene appropriately.Most state licensing board websites will have a link to a complaint form, which you can either fill out online, or print and mail in. If not, you can give them a call, and ask how to initiate this procedure.You can also look into filing a complaint with a national professional organization. While these don't have direct control over therapist licensure, they do have the ability to rescind membership which, in most states, will automatically take away a therapist’s license. So they can impose censures, sanctions, and requirements for continuing education or re-training.And—assuming your therapist works in a larger practice, and/or under clinical supervision (you should have been told at intake, if they do); you can call their boss. This might lead to a higher-pressure sell about reporting to a state board; in and of itself, though, it is likely to be the lowest-stress option for you.Last but not least, you can seek legal counsel. Depending on what happened, this might be more of a legal charges or civil charges thing—or both. I'm not a lawyer, so I'll refrain from guessing; but a good starting point in that case would be to call your local Legal Aid organization for advice about next steps.
