Given the high statistics of alcohol use and binge drinking, the vast majority of people who would benefit from getting help for their drinking are High Functioning Alcoholics (HFA). The problem for them is that denial is high because outwardly, they believe they don’t fit the charicature of what they think an alcoholic is or how they might ‘look’. The denial that I experienced was so deeply rooted and was reinforced not only from my loved ones but from society as a whole.A Pervasive Stigma - The word alcoholic unfortunately carries a deeply ingrained social stigma. Seven years after I gave up drinking, people still look at me cockeyed and dismissively say “Oh but you’re not an alcoholic.” Or “C’mon, you weren’t that bad, you don’t have a problem, you can have one.” They simply do not understand. It wasn’t how much I drank or how I behaved outwardly, it was what it did to me when I did; it was my internal relationship to it. I often say that my life appeared to be just fine and I may not have been living under a bridge but internally, it was tent city, I was in the emotional gutter. To them, a real alcoholic is someone who Looks like W.C. Fields and acts like Lindsay Lohan, the entitled ingrate, the sloppy slut with her minidress hitched to expose her tights tops who throws it all away on partying and feeling sorry for herself. The unshaven barfly who cannot hold a job or keep a relationship in tact just days from being on the street.It is as stereotypical and illinformed as the drunk Irishman. Like this one who looks like, you guessed it, W.C. Fields.It is such an acceptable stereotype that as we look down from our moral higher ground, because WE can handle our drink, that we find hats like to one below humourously appropriate.The alcoholic fills us with such derisive pity that we’re all relieved, as we pat ourselves on the back and pour another, that we are able to control our drinking. We dole out contempt and engage in salaciousness when what such individuals desperately need, much like ourselves, is compassion and human connection.Lindsay Lohan - I truely feel for her and hope she stops destroying herself. It requires the patient leave the denial behind and be totally willing and honest while answering the questions. The reason the manual doesn’t use the term alcoholism is part of an effort to get more people help early and sidestep the stigma used as a form of avoidance and denial by high functioning or ‘high bottom’ alcoholics. Well here’s the thing. #1- The group that JYP will debut Somi in, has already been training AND picked. Right now, there are no notifications for JYP accepting new trainees due to the fact that he’s already focusing on this new girl group. I think auditions for that have been long over as well. Mailing your audition or simply going on their website is possible however no one has ever been picked via those ways. Your best choice/chance is to audition in South Korea right in front of them. It’s not impossible so good luck with that. Also, ask yourself if this is really what you want. Don’t just do it in order to be next to your loved Korean stars because you’ll be disappointed in the long run. It takes hard work, dedication, and sacrificing when it comes to the life of training and being an idol.

My district has a window of time that allows students to transfer to chosen schools. Almost all transfers are accepted.There is a specific procedure to do this correctly.If the student lives in a different district, they have to officially notify that district that they are planning on going to a neighboring district. Paperwork must be signed by both districts.Please contact all the districts involved. They can help you with the steps.Each year the student must reapply for the transfer. My district only denies transfers when attendance or behavior has been an issue.
