I have only visited each of these places for a short period of time. All of them have great weather and amazing scenery. They are truly wonderful locations. Of course LA is by far the largest and most busy but they are all large cities. If money were no issue, I would probably choose San Francisco. The scenery is really interesting with the bay, the mountains, the bridges, the redwood forests to the north and the many hills and memorable spots around the city. However, if I didn’t have to worry about the cost, I could probably be happy in any of these cities as long as I could find a relatively quiet spot to get away from the traffic now and then! I also spent some time in Monterrey which has a beautiful location like San Francisco, but less congestion. There are lots of nice places along the California coast besides just the biggest and most famous cities!

It is usually the most referred one as far as I am concerned. Having said that there are lot of other surveys which will speak of Ranking. As far as the job prospects , AI course and Total cost you can always take a look at the last 5 year academic ahievements of the universities. You should asses the industry and academic partnerships done past 5 years, the number of job fairs and the list of companies where students usually intern. These will give you cues about the potential job umbrella. As per as the cost it is usually based on the region in US. However for Masters there are tuition waiver and assitantships as well. You can take a look at their admision processes. Most important thing is to carefully go through their websites. Without seeing your accomplishments thus far, how would anyone on Quora know?If you do not have a ‘Letter of Completion’ of GE (‘General Education’) requirements for the Institution you are in now, then ‘what ever’ UC campus need ‘approximate’ their GE requirements (each campus is different, and each of the Six colleges AT UCSD is different) to the courses you’ve completed thus far. Not fun… if you don’t have that ‘letter’ IMHO.

I was selected for a summer internship 2016.I tried to be very open while filling the preference form: I choose many products as my favorite products and I said I'm open about the team I want to join.I even was very open in the  location and start date to get host matching interviews (I negotiated the start date in the interview until both me and my host were happy.) You could ask your recruiter to review your form (there are very cool and could help you a lot since they have a bigger experience).Do a search on the potential team.Before the interviews,  try to find smart question that you are going to ask for the potential host (do a search on the team  to find nice and deep questions to impress your host). Prepare well your resume.You are very likely not going to get algorithm/data structure questions like in the first round. It's going to be just some friendly chat if you are lucky. If your potential team is working on something like machine learning, expect that  they are going to ask you questions about machine learning, courses related to machine learning you have and relevant experience (projects, internship). Of course you have to study that before the interview. Take as long time as you need if you feel rusty. It takes some time to get ready for the host matching (it's less than the technical interview)  but it's worth it of course.

It’s not that hard. The only problem with CSUN in regards to that, is that it is a commuter school. Meaning a lot of people go back home to their parents after class and sometimes home can 45min to 1 hour away. These are the people who you probably aren’t going to be spending a lot of time with, especially if you’re living in the dorms. People choose to not live on campus or close to campus for different reasons(strict parents, socially awkward, unrealistic roommate expectations,financial reasons). These are the people who even when you invite them out, they come up with all sorts of reasons not to go. No judgement, it just is what it is.If you live on campus, then I would say make friends with your roommates(I still hang with my old roomies), and make it a point to introduce yourself to everybody in your dormitory within the first week. I know it seems lame but most people will be happy you did especially since this is likely their first time away from home. Will people like me? Will this suck like HS did? Don’t be afraid to get it started. Encourage your roommates to come with you and I would say that it's best to do it only if your roommates are willing to do it with you. I personally wouldn't do it by myself. But that's just me.If you’re off campus I would suggest either joining an organization or starting one so that you can meet people. You can do this if you live on campus as well.
