We had a guy show up drunk to work and run a tractor up and kind of over a prune tree. That in it of itself would probably have been enough to get him fired, but it would also have been excused. Prunes aren’t worth a damn thing anymore, the tractor was fine (so far), everything could have been forgiven unless my boss realized he was drunk if he would have just walked away. Hell, even if my boss had realized he was drunk he probably would have forgiven it.He’s fired two people in his 25 years of being boss man, one of whom got in the face of his dad who had just had a stroke and the other one managed to spend 8 hours not mowing a yard, then call us up and say he needed some OT to finish. (I’m the boss’ personal go-getter, aka the company bitch). But no, this piece of intellectual brilliance decides that he was going to pull the tractor back down with his Tacoma. Why he didn’t just reverse the tractor off of the tree will forever confuse me, but I digress. He gets his baby Yota over to the tractor, takes a tow rope and hooks up to the front (the end that’s in the air) of the tractor, and left the tractor in gear. Anyone who’s ever tried to do anything knows exactly what’s happening next, which turned into a Tow Mater and sons experiment. He drops his truck into four wheel, hits the gas, andPuts the tractor on its ass. My boss and I come rolling around the corner as he was running from his truck back to his tractor. But even then, my boss didn’t fire him — the guy just quit from shame/embarrassment. The cocaine story has this one beat, but I can’t miss an opportunity to show some tractor tipping.EDIT: Since I’ve got a couple requests: during prune harvesting season we bring in a lot of outside labor contractors. As is common with most job sites, there’s no drinking or consumption of drugs or alcohol allowed during company time on company property. One of the guys, we’ll call him B, every day showed up to work like he’d just ate a bag of freakin’ coffee beans. He mellowed out all morning long, but he was weird, because after lunch he would be really low, but then he’d slam his ass in gear and be rolling along pretty well all afternoon. One day my boss and I decided I was going to learn the ropes from B (he was the best equipment operator we had) so I followed him everywhere. His morning pick-me-ups? Line of cocaine. He mellowed out throughout the day because he would hollow out and put joints inside of his apples that he would “eat” while in the machine, (the machine guys can’t see each other, so we had no idea he was lighting up). He told me the secret to this was putting them inside of a little ziploc baggie to keep them dry. For lunch, he would do another line of coke, then drink a frosty forty, pour another frosty forty in his water jug (we always assumed he brought the extra one from home and left it by his car full of ice so he could drink cold water in the afternoons without having to move). He’d discovered from years of practice I guess that the line of coke and frosty forty counter-act each other well enough that you don’t seem obviously drunk, but you don’t seem too enthused to be doing your job either.Needless to say, the boss man and I were pretty shocked. Nobody said anything because we needed to finish out the harvest, and as I said previously, this guy was a fantastic machine op, but we kept the harvest in house the following year.

Why are the British so proud of the NHS? Because it saved most of our lives, resulting in increases in life expectancy year-on-year until the Conservatives took over government in 2010 and started privatising parts and starving it of cash.Let me tell you a story about my life. My maternal grandmother was caught in a bomb during the Second World War and became a Type 1 diabetic after her pancreas failed. Now my grandfather was a successful amateur musician and owned many expensive musical instruments. But before the NHS was founded he had to sell all of them to pay for to keep his wife alive. He was saved from bankruptcy and she was saved, period, by the NHS.Being diabetic my grandmother had difficulties with childbirth and had many still-born children. Only my mother survived, thanks to the NHS.My father suffered from schizophrenia. He was admitted to mental hospitals for treatment until the best medicines were found to allow him to rejoin society and work to support his family, thanks to the NHS.My mother suffered from high blood pressure. This increased severely during pregnancy but she safely delivered my brother and I, thanks to the NHS. In her middle-age she became asthmatic but received treatment free of charge, thanks to the NHS. In her old age heart surgeons discovered she had a defected valve and clogged arteries, so she was given a double bypass free of charge on the NHS. She is now fit and well, living out her eighth decade. When my brother was born he was four weeks premature and weighed only 4 pounds 5 ounces. When he was born the umbilical cord wrapped around his throat and he didn’t breath for several minutes. But he survived and is fit and well, and the condition of his birth has had no lasting effects, thanks to the NHS.As a child I was long-sighted, with a lazy eye, and wore down my shoes due to weak ankle muscles. On the NHS I was given glasses, eye patches and supports for my shoes to prevent them from wearing out. Now I don’t wear glasses, don’t have a lazy eye and walk perfectly normally, thanks to the NHS.A couple of decades ago I was knocked unconscious by a thug in the street where I lived. I was found on the pavement by an off-duty police officer who called an ambulance that took me to my local emergency unit. There I was treated for concussion. All free of charge, thanks to the NHS.A couple of years ago I badly cut my knee on a broken ceramic basin at home. I patched it up as best I could and drove to my nearest minor injuries unit where I was quickly treated by a nurse, who bandaged up the wound and gave me a set of clean dressings to replace the ones he had used. All free.I could go on. But the reality is that virtually everyone in the UK owes their lives to the NHS. Yes it costs us some tax, but having a state founded health service makes treatment a third of what it costs in a private system such as that present in the USA. The poor can be treated just as easily as the rich, although the rich pay for the NHS through their taxes, the cost is probably less than private medical insurance due to NHS bills being a third of equivalent American bills.National Insurance, invented by the Liberal Party and expanded by the Labour Party, is an insurance premium that looks after the NHS, pensions and out-of-work benefits, so no-one should be sick, hungry or homeless in the UK. Unfortunately the two Conservative governments of Thatcher/Major and Cameron/May have implemented cuts that weaken the power of the NHS and cut benefits, to save money while ignoring the effect such cuts have on the health of the nation and the economic impact that increased sickness and poverty has on the economy. Nevertheless, the NHS, implemented by Aneurin Bevan when the UK was in vast debt to the USA after WWII, is the most splendid example of what a government can do if it invests money for the good of all by taxing the richest to save the poorest. As Nye Bevan said, “No society can legitimately call itself civilized if a sick person is denied medical aid because of lack of means.”And this isn’t just a nostalgic view of someone that’s come out of the rationing of World World Two, with the illusive hope of modernity glistening in his watery eyes. This is the belief of many still today. As the actor Michael Sheen put it, “In 1945 Aneurin Bevan said: ‘We have been the dreamers, we have been the sufferers, and now, we are the builders.’ And my God, how they built. And what they built. Every bit as much a wonder of the world as any architectural marvel, or any natural miracle … The National Health Service. A truly monumental vision. The result of true representation. Of real advocacy. A symbol of equality, of fairness, and of compassion.” (The Guardian, 2 March 2015, Full text of Michael Sheen's speech) This is why the British are so proud of the NHS, and why it is the envy of so many nations around the World - even now in its weakened form, once again starved of cash by more Tory cuts and plans for irrational and expensive privatisation to extract profits from the sick and the poor.

I was selected for a summer internship 2016.I tried to be very open while filling the preference form: I choose many products as my favorite products and I said I'm open about the team I want to join.I even was very open in the  location and start date to get host matching interviews (I negotiated the start date in the interview until both me and my host were happy.) You could ask your recruiter to review your form (there are very cool and could help you a lot since they have a bigger experience).Do a search on the potential team. Before the interviews,  try to find smart question that you are going to ask for the potential host (do a search on the team  to find nice and deep questions to impress your host). Prepare well your resume. You are very likely not going to get algorithm/data structure questions like in the first round. It's going to be just some friendly chat if you are lucky. If your potential team is working on something like machine learning, expect that  they are going to ask you questions about machine learning, courses related to machine learning you have and relevant experience (projects, internship). Of course you have to study that before the interview. Take as long time as you need if you feel rusty. It takes some time to get ready for the host matching (it's less than the technical interview)  but it's worth it of course.

Just register on the admission portal and during registration you will get an option for the entrance based course. Just register there. There is no separate form for DU CIC.

You are correct that your LLC is an entity, but that does not mean it is not a sole proprietor.  That is determined by the ownership of the LLC.  If in fact you are the sole owner and have not made any type of corporation elections, then for tax purposes your LLC is a sole proprietorship and you will probably have to complete a W9 for many of your customers.  You will receive a 1099 from any customers who pay you more than $600 over the course of a calendar year.  Likewise if you have any independent contractors working for you, you will need to obtain a W9 from them and send them 1099 forms at year end if you pay more than $600 to any one contractor. One final comment, I would suggest you contact a US tax professional and have a conversation about all the various tax reporting obligations you have now as a business owner.  No offense, but from the wording of your question, I assume taxes and accounting are not your strong suit and probably not the area where you add value to the business.  You would be well served to get professional help and keep yourself out of trouble.

I wish that everyone, both liberal and conservative, was able to understand what “unintended consequences” are.10 Fascinating Examples of Unintended Consequences - Toptenz.netLiberals often think that if the INTENT of a policy is NICE, then the OUTCOME of the policy will be NICE.Liberals are NICE. Their NICE eyeballs look out onto the world a see a place where we should all be NICE.But being NICE often has negative consequences.Like letting a child molester or a rapist out of prison is NICE because we want to believe that everyone has some good in them. We want to feel that the person can be rehabilitated. But in reality, 92% of violent criminals will commit the same violent crimes when released from prison. So letting criminals out of jail after a few years is NICE and is also EVIL.Another big delusion is that a politician must have STRONG support to be elected.Sometimes politicians get elected because the opposition got bored and stayed home.America is a nation of centrists, that's why we have close elections. They shrug their shoulders and vote for whoever they sort of like better.Trump can get re-elected even if not one single person in the USA likes him. We have a binary party system, so if the voters dislike Trump less than they dislike Hillary (or whoever), then he'll be re-elected.In a binary political system, a politician is turned either on or off by the voters, like a light switch. Whether the individual voter adores him or hates him but hates Hillary more, the pro-Trump vote counts the same.In the last election, the greatest number of voters voted to stay home and watch Dancing with the Stars on TV. 42% of the eligible voters voted for Dancing With The Stars, 26% voted for Trump and Hillary each. In a pure democracy, the cast of Dancing With The Stars would be president. That's what makes Trump Derangement Syndrome so hilarious. After the election, everyone twirled about in confusion and "realized" that their neighbor Timmy who voted for Trump is a secret FASCIST.It's not that Hillary was an unlikable candidate and ran a horrible, disjointed campaign and got beaten by a blowhard. The fun and exciting version is that "Trump activated his white supremacist base." The same people that elected Obama twice are apparently white supremacists. LOL.I’m not a fan of Michael Moore, but he nailed it:

Years ago I worked at document management company.  There is cool software that can automate aspects of hand-written forms.  We had an airport as a customer - they scanned plenty and (as I said before) this was several years ago...On your airport customs forms, the "boxes" that you 'need' to write on - are basically invisible to the scanner - but are used because then us humans will tend to write neater and clearer which make sit easier to recognize with a computer.  Any characters with less than X% accuracy based on a recognition engine are flagged and shown as an image zoomed into the particular character so a human operator can then say "that is an "A".   This way, you can rapidly go through most forms and output it to say - an SQL database, complete with link to original image of the form you filled in.If you see "black boxes" at three corners of the document - it is likely set up for scanning (they help to identify and orient the page digitally).  If there is a unique barcode on the document somewhere I would theorize there is an even higher likelihood of it being scanned - the document is of enough value to be printed individually which costs more, which means it is likely going to be used on the capture side.   (I've noticed in the past in Bahamas and some other Caribbean islands they use these sorts of capture mechanisms, but they have far fewer people entering than the US does everyday)The real answer is: it depends.  Depending on each country and its policies and procedures.  Generally I would be surprised if they scanned and held onto the paper.   In the US, they proably file those for a set period of time then destroy them, perhaps mining them for some data about travellers. In the end,  I suspect the "paper-to-data capture" likelihood of customs forms ranges somewhere on a spectrum like this:Third world Customs Guy has paper to show he did his job, paper gets thrown out at end of shift. ------>  We keep all the papers! everything is scanned as you pass by customs and unique barcodes identify which flight/gate/area the form was handed out at, so we co-ordinate with cameras in the airport and have captured your image.  We also know exactly how much vodka you brought into the country. :)

NOOOOOOO. You are talking to a military romance scammer. I received an email from the US Army that directly answers your question that is pasted below please keep reading.I believe you are the victim of a military Romance Scam whereas the person you are talking to is a foreign national posing as an American Soldier claiming to be stationed overseas on a peacekeeping mission. That's the key to the scam they always claim to be on a peacekeeping mission.Part of their scam is saying that they have no access to their money that their mission is highly dangerous. If your boyfriend girlfriend/future husband/wife is asking you to do the following or has exhibited this behavior, it is a most likely a scam:Moves to private messaging site immediately after meeting you on Facebook or SnapChat or Instagram or some dating or social media site. Often times they delete the site you met them on right after they asked you to move to a more private messaging siteProfesses love to you very quickly & seems to quote poems and song lyrics along with using their own sort of broken language, as they profess their love and devotion quickly. They also showed concern for your health and love for your family.Promises marriage as soon as he/she gets to state for leave that they asked you to pay for. They Requests money (wire transfers) and Amazon, iTune ,Verizon, etc gift cards, for medicine, religious practices, and leaves to come home, internet access, complete job assignments, help sick friend, get him out of trouble, or anything that sounds fishy. The military does provide all the soldier needs including food medical Care and transportation for leave. Trust me, I lived it, you are probably being scammed. I am just trying to show you examples that you are most likely being connned.Below is an email response I received after I sent an inquiry to the US government when I discovered I was scammed. I received this wonderful response back with lots of useful links on how to find and report your scammer. And how to learn more about Romance Scams.Right now you can also copy the picture he gave you and do a google image search and you will hopefully see the pictures of the real person he is impersonating. this doesn't always work and take some digging. if you find the real person you can direct message them and alert them that their image is being used for scamming.Good Luck to you and I'm sorry this may be happening to you. please continue reading the government response I received below it's very informative.   You have contacted an email that is monitored by the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command.
