And they don’t even believe my attestations because they then call the FBI to make sure I was telling the truth!Then anywhere from 2 minutes to 3 days later, I can take my gun home. But if I lie on that form, even unintentionally, I’ve just signed a confession to a felony for which I can be prosecuted.And that is the bare minimum required to own a gun anywhere in the United States!You seriously want to discuss gun ownership against voting in terms of requirements?!? Not a place I recommend you go to where to many people, the bare civic responsibility of taking a few hours out of a day once every 5 or 10 years to get a free state ID to show who you are is an unconscionable burden in order to vote!Somehow the scale isn’t tipping in the “easy” direction you think it is.
