Mamata also arrested some boys who chanted Jai Shri Ram when she was on a road show. Nothing wrong in chanting Jai Shri Ram. She arrested them. The entire Hindu samaj feel insulted. She is losing more support. Best thing would have been to greet them with Jai Shri Ram. There are many such instances involving Congress too when they suspended a Teacher and arrested those who chanted Modi, Modi… All these denote that the opposition do not respect the fundamental rights enshrined in the constitution. People fear such opposition.Though crowds in any rallies are not an indication of the support for that party, the response and the lively atmosphere in the rallies of BJP shows that it is getting more support. Also social base of the party has considerably increased in 2019 with the entire forward class, major portion of Backward class, and selected dalits backing BJP, the signNow of the party has increased considerably. BJP is certain to increase its vote share to 38% or around 21 crores. This may not substantially increase the number of seats, but may marginally increase by 15 to 20 seats.
